SUPERHEROES MURAL

OAKLAND, CA

The West Oakland Super Heroes Mural measures 240 feet long x 16 feet tall, located on West street between 35th and 36th street in Oakland CA. I lead a group of 15 artists and designed the mural to scale, the artist worked off my design and I feel that this mural represents on of the best examples of the quality of my work from start to its completion. The mural was completed within the required time and budget albeit beset with a series of setbacks. The large scale of the project was a collaboration between the Attitudinal Healing Connection (AHC), professional artists, children and teens from the community and myself. The Oakland Super Heroes Mural Project (OHS) was an effort aimed at fighting graffiti while helping with the revitalization of urban settings.
