Javier moves to the USA to pursue his studies in art. He enrolles at the Utah State University for a major in painting.

Javier graduates from the Academy of Art University to finish his degree in Illustration.

Javier finishes “The Three Graces”, his first private commission was for Vasari’s Italian boutique in Las Vegas

Javier begins his job as office manager at the Mexican Museum in San Francisco.

Finishes Morning Breeze, a 40’ x 25’ acrylic mural for Armax Builders and Developers, located in the Russian Hill neighborhood in San Francisco.

Begins working at the Prevue NetWork in Oklahoma as a graphic designer.

Javier opens Amaru Gallery, a Latin-American fine and Folk-art gallery.

Javier is commissioned to paint two large-scale Archangels for the Altar and a grotto for Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Colusa, California
